This dating app helps people find love - based on
what they both hate
Pre

What
do you think people will hate?
How
do you think this App works?
Hater says it is "the first dating app that matches people
on the things they hate"
Hater is a sign of the times. It is the latest dating app to match people on
what they hate and not on what they like.
It matches on all kinds of hated things
such as slow walkers, rude people, bad food, politics etc. Hater wants its
users to connect on things that get them riled.
Hater advertizes
as an app that will help you meet someone who hates the same things as you. It encourages users to tell their opinions
on many topics such as Donald Trump or camping or cafes.
Hater is not only about political views. In fact, it is for people fed up of hearing about the political
world such as Trump and Brexit.
To give their opinions, users are asked to
swipe in different directions to indicate
if they love, hate, like, dislike. Hater then builds a profile or database
of its users based on their opinions. And then it starts connecting them
with similar people - who hate the same things.
The app will be available from February
8 in time for
Valentine's Day. The App has 2,000 topics of interest at the moment.
It has a plan to add more user-created ones.
The idea for the App comes from research that
people are inclined to bond through the same negative
opinions.
