A couple have become desperate to find an au pair because five that they had before have been frightened away from their home.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

A Scottish couple is offering a yearly salary of $87,000 to their new live-in nanny. But there's a very creepy request. The job sounds like it could be the next scary horror movie.

The couple posted an advertisement looking for an au pair who could look after children and clean their home. The problem is that the home is completely haunted. In the past year they've lost five au pairs.

In an advert posted on Childcare.co.uk, the couple said that with the $87,000 they'll provide a room with its own private kitchen and bathroom.  And also 28 paid holiday days off a year.

"We have lived in our home for nearly 10 years. We were told it was 'haunted' when we bought it. But we kept our minds open and decided to buy the house anyway.

They said that five nannies have left the job in the last year. Each nanny said they were leaving because of supernatural events. They said that they heard strange noises, broken glass and furniture moving.

The couple said that loosing so many nannies has been a difficult time for their children because they have too many changes. They said that they have not personally experienced any supernatural events. They said that these events happened only while they have been out of the house.  They said they are happy to pay the nannies very well because they feel it's important to be as upfront as possible to find the right person.

Along with having the paranormal events,  the au pair will also be required to prepare breakfast and get the children, 5 and 7, ready for school before taking them to school.
