안녕하세요 여러분, 이번에는 ‘롤플레이’ 연습을 해 보겠습니다. 다양한 상황에서의 롤플레이 유형이 출제되는데요, 그 중에서 ‘제안하기’ 유형 중 

하나를 함께 살펴보겠습니다. 우선, 누군가에게 조언을 하거나 제안을 할 때 필요한 필수 표현을 연습해야 합니다. 자신의 생각을 제안하는 것이므로 

명령문 어조로 제안하기 보다는 정중하게 표현할 수 있도록 하세요.

[ 유용한 표현 – 제안하기/ 조언하기 ]

1) I think you should~  ex) I think you should try jogging or walking at the park.

2) I recommend you ~  ex) I recommend you go to the gym everyday to work out.

3) I suggest you ~    ex) I suggest you buy a new laptop instead of trying to fix it.

4) Why don’t you~    ex) Why don’t you take a swimming lesson with me this winter?

Hey, Jin, I heard that you have gained some weight recently. So you’re trying to lose weight, right? Well, I had the same experience. Last summer, I gained three kilograms and I tried so hard to lose weight. So, I think I can give you some tips to help you. I recommend you try walking for an hour every day. You might get easily exhausted if you try to run for an hour. So, I think that just walking is a good start. You know there’s a big park around our office. I walked three laps around the park every day during lunch break and it actually worked! I lost three kilograms in a month, and it is better than any other exercises I’ve tried. It’s easy. If you need a company to walk with you, just feel free to tell me. I’ll be happy to.
