안녕하세요 여러분, 이번에는 돌발 주제 중 ‘시골’이라는 주제로 함께 알아보겠습니다. 시골이라고 하면 어떠한 것이 가장 먼저 떠오르나요?
아마도 넓은 들판과 산, 그리고 조용하고 평화로운 분위기의 작은 마을의 모습이 그려질 텐데요, 이러한 시골의 풍경을 묘사하고 도시 생활과의
비교를 하라고 묻는 질문도 출제됩니다. 이번에는 우선 시골의 풍경 묘사와 시골에서 할 수 있는 일은 어떠한 것이 있는지 영어로 답변하는 방법을
알아볼까요?

When I think about the countryside, the first thing that comes into my mind is the peaceful nature. The Korean countryside makes me think of a
quiet and peaceful village. It is mostly made up of beautiful mountains and extensive farmland. If you take a walk in the countryside, you’ll be
fascinated by the beautiful nature. The sky in the countryside is so clear that you can see a lot of stars at night. I still remember the day when I
visited my father’s friend’s farm. I was 12 years old and the twinkling stars in the sky at night were so beautiful! That was when I thought that I
wanted to live in the countryside. Also, various kinds of plants are growing up everywhere. I think people in the countryside help each other and
they are also very friendly. These days, many young people have left for the city to get a job, so most of the people in the countryside are old.
That’s pretty much about the countryside in Korea.
