#10. 동네 소개하기 전략
이번에는 OPIc 질문 중 ‘동네 소개’ 전략을 함께 살펴보겠습니다
OPIc 에서는 자신이 살고 있는 동네를 묘사하라는 질문이 굉장히 자주 출제가 됩니다.
앞서 거주지 소개하기 질문에서 세 번째 콤보 질문으로 이미 예상 질문과 답변을 살펴봤는데요,
동네 소개와 관련된 질문을 받으면, 가장 먼저 큰 건물 및 장소를 떠올리세요
예를 들어서, 학교나 공원, 상점, 그리고 전철역이나 버스 정류장 등을 소개하면 됩니다.
만약, 여러분이 살고 있는 동네에 대해서 소개할 점이 없다고 생각된다면, 거짓말로 꾸며내도 충분히 좋은 답변을 할 수 있답니다. 따라서 제가 다음에 알려드릴 동네 소개하기 순서 전략을 잘 기억해두고, 여러분만의 멋진 답변을 만들어 보세요!
1. 위치
: I live in Mok-dong which is a residential area in Seoul and there are many apartment complexes in my town.
2. 주변 건물
① In my neighborhood, there is a park where I often go for a walk after dinner.
Sometimes, I often run into my neighbors jogging or taking a walk there.
② Next to the park, there is an elementary school. So, I can see many kids going to school
in the morning and they are pretty loud.
③ Near the school, many stores are located and some of them open 24 hours a day. So, it is very convenient for me to buy things even late at night.
④ Within walking distance, there are bus stops and a subway station.
It’s just a 5-minute walk from my house, so it’s convenient to use public transportation.
With multiple subway and bus lines going through the area, people can easily get around by public transportation system.
⑤ And that’s what I like the most about my neighborhood.
3. 경치 및 분위기
① There is a beautiful mountain that surrounds the town.
So, when spring comes, flowers and trees bloom and it becomes very beautiful.
Also, in fall, the leaves change color, and then it’s absolutely breathtaking beyond
description.
② On top of that, I can breathe in the fresh air when I go hiking to the mountains on the weekend.
4. 느낌으로 마무리
I think my town is a great place to live in.
장소를 소개하거나 묘사할 때 위치 전치사 (next to, near, opposite 등)을 활용하여 실제로 눈앞에 그림을 그리듯이 묘사하는 것이 좋겠죠?
또한, 장소를 묘사할 때 공원이나 산을 설명하면 어떠한 장소를 묘사하더라도 적절히 응용할 수 있답니다. 예를 들어서, 학교 캠퍼스를 묘사할 때에도 산을 묘사할 수 있고, 자신이 가봤던 기억에 남는 여행지를 설명할 때에도 산과 공원 묘사를 활용할 수 있겠죠?
