#6. 거주지 소개하기 전략
이번에는 OPIc 질문 중 ‘거주지 소개’ 전략을 함께 살펴볼까요?
OPIc 에서는 자신이 살고 있는 집을 묘사하라는 질문도 자주 출제가 됩니다.
이 경우, 아파트인지 주택인지, 그리고 누구와 함께 살고 있는지 우선 설명한 후
집 내부를 눈앞에 생생히 펼쳐 보이듯이 묘사를 하면 된답니다.
예를 들어서, 거실에는 어떠한 가구가 있는지, 그리고 각 방에는 어떤 물건이 있는지 설명한 후
마지막으로 집안 전체의 분위기와 자신의 느낌을 설명하면 훌륭한 답변이 되겠죠?
이때, 여러분에게 필요한 것은 바로 상상력 입니다.
자신이 실제로 살고 있는 집이라면 더 이야기하기 쉽겠지만, 만약 마땅히 떠오르는 이야기가 없다면 살짝 거짓말과 상상력을 보태어 묘사해도 아무도 모르겠죠?
그렇다면 이제 거주지 소개 답변의 순서 및 전략을 살펴볼까요?
1. 주거 형태 및 층 수
: I live on the 10th floor of a 25-story apartment building in a residential area.
2. 방, 화장실 수
: 방 1개 욕실 1개 아파트 – one bedroom one bathroom apartment
I live in a three-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment with my family.
3. 거실
① When you walk in, you can see the living room first which has a couch, a TV stand and a coffee table.
② Above the TV, there is a picture of my family hanging on the wall.
* 거실에 있는 가구를 설명하고, 거실에서 가족과 함께 TV를 본다는 내용을 덧붙여도 좋습니다
4. 부엌
① The living room is connected to the kitchen which has a dining table, a refrigerator and a stove.
② Since I don’t cook often, I don’t spend much time in the kitchen. However, when I have breakfast or dinner with my family, we sit around the table and enjoy a meal together.
* 부엌에 있는 가전제품을 나열하고, 부엌에서 언제 시간을 보내는지 설명하면 되겠죠?
5. 베란다
① The living is also connected to the balcony where I grow some plants.
② When I look out the window from the balcony, I have a nice view of mountains, and that’s what I like the most about my house.

6. 전반적인 분위기
① The wall paper is white, so it goes well with the furniture and actually that makes my apartment look spacious.
② My house is not that big, but it’s always cozy, clean and neat, so I like living in my apartment.
