안녕하세요 여러분,
이번에는 이웃 관련 질문 중 자주 출제되는 두 번째 질문과 답변을 살펴보겠습니다.
Q) When was the last time you talked with your neighbor? Where was it and what did you talk about?

I used to talk with my neighbors a lot, but these days I’m very busy with my school and I didn’t have a chance to talk with them. However, yesterday I ran into my upstairs neighbor in the elevator when I was on my way to school! I was very glad to see her in the elevator and we said hello to each other. After that, we talked about the weather first because it was getting so hot and humid. After getting out of the elevator, we walked to the bus stop together. She asked me about my school life and I said I was really busy with exams and homework. Then, she told me that there was a new restaurant that just opened up across the street. She knows well that I’m into Italian food, and she asked me to go to the restaurant for dinner sometime. I was very excited to hear that! So, we made plans for dinner at the new restaurant. I am going to meet her and her family for dinner this coming Saturday and I can’t wait! Our talk didn’t last long since my bus arrived, but it was so fun to talk with her and I lost track of time.

답변의 시작은 ‘이웃들과 자주 이야기하곤 했었지만 요즘은 바빠서 그러지 못한다’라고 이야기한 후 어제 만났던 이웃에 대해 이야기 합니다. 인사 -> 날씨 -> 학교생활 -> 새로운 레스토랑 에 관한 이야기로 화제가 차례대로 옮겨지는 것은 앞선 전력 칼럼에서 배웠던 내용이죠.? 그러면서 새로운 레스토랑에 함께 가기로 했다는 이야기를 덧붙이면 좋네요.
역시나 마무리는 느낌이죠! 함께 이야기하면서 너무나 재미있어 시간 가는 줄 몰랐다고 하면 됩니다.
