안녕하세요 여러분, 이번에는 돌발 주제 중 ‘계절’과 관련된 내용으로 함께 해 보겠습니다. 우리나라의 사계절의 날씨와 특징을 영어로 설명하는 연습이 우선 필요하답니다. 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울에 각각 날씨가 어떠한지, 그리고 각 계절에 사람들이 즐기는 활동으로는 무엇이 있는지 이야기할 수 있어야 합니다. 봄,가을에 사람들이 즐기는 활동으로는 온화한 날씨 덕분에 많은 사람들이 즐기는 등산을 예로 들면 좋겠습니다. 봄에는 꽃 축제에 가고 가을에는 단풍 구경을 가기 때문에 유명한 산들은 사람들로 붐빈다고 설명하면 되겠죠. 그리고 여름에는 수영이나 물놀이, 겨울에는 스키를 즐기는 사람들이 많다고 이야기하면 알찬 답변이 되겠습니다.

In spring, it is still a little cold until the beginning of April. Around the mid of April, the weather is so warm and mild that it’s perfect for a picnic and outdoor activities. When spring comes, plants sprout and flowers are in
full bloom. When the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it becomes so beautiful that tons of people attend flower festivals. One thing I’m not happy with in spring is that yellow dust and fine dust show up. In that case, people try to stay indoors with all the windows closed. Summer starts around June and the weather gets very hot and humid. We have the rainy season in mid-July for about 3 weeks. During the season, the weather is extremely humid and we have heavy rain and even typhoon. Swimming is the most popular activity among people due to the hot weather. In fall, the weather gets cooler and the leaves change their colors to red and yellow. So, tons of people flock to famous mountains to enjoy the spectacular view. It gets colder and colder and winter comes around December. It snows and the temperature falls below zero. The weather is freezing
and windy, and we sometimes have heavy snow. You can see many people enjoying skiing and snowboarding at ski resorts. Some old people like to visit hot springs as well.
