안녕하세요 여러분, 이번에는 처음으로 TV 보는 것에 흥미를 갖게 된 것이 언제였으며 어렸을 때와 비교해 현재 어떻게 TV쇼가 변해왔는지를 묻는 질문입니다. 어렸을 때 처음 TV를 봤던 날을 정확히 기억할 순 없겠죠. 하지만 어렸을 때 대체로 만화영화를 보는 것으로 TV 시청이 시작되었을 것입니다. 점점 커 갈수록 좋아하는 TV 프로그램은 음악 방송이나 코미디 프로그램으로 바뀌었겠죠. 옛날에 비해 현재의 TV 프로그램들은 어떤가요? 요즘에는 유독 리얼리티 쇼들이 인기를 얻는 경향을 보입니다. 요리 방송이나 노래 경연 방송 같은 쇼들이 인기를 얻는데, 이것은 아마도 대본을 따라 하는 것이 아니라 더 재미있게 느껴지는 이유 때문이겠죠. 이러한 내용을 답변에 담아 연습을 해 볼까요?

[Q] When did you start watching TV and what made you interested in it? Describe in detail how TV shows have changed since you were young.

I don’t remember exactly when I started watching TV, but I remember I loved to watch animated shows on TV when I was a kid. One thing I still remember is the animated program ‘Smurf’. I think the storyline of the blue Smurfs living in Smurf Village was very interesting and even the title song caught my ears. Oh well, speaking of Smurfs, I do want to watch it again if I get the chance. As I grew up, I liked to watch some music programs. When I was a teenager, I remember I wanted to watch the music show that popular singers appeared and performed on the stage. I was interested in hot singers back then, so I remember I couldn’t take my eyes off the music show on TV. Nowadays, there are a lot of entertainment programs in Korea. A lot of the programs are talk shows with multiple hosts. They normally have a theme they talk about. They also have well-known stars appear on the show. Some shows are talent competition programs. These kinds of reality shows are entertaining and interesting because they don’t follow a script, and it makes the shows much more exciting than the other types of shows.
