Police officers have a lot of responsibilities to keep people safe from any harm. One of their major duties is that they patrol at night to help people be safe when they walk home at night. Many crimes occur mainly at night, so police officers do their best for civilians’ safe. Since I know that police officers are around, I feel safe when I walk home late. Another job is to control traffic so that drivers have no confusion. I can see many police officers who control traffic at the intersections especially during rush hours. It must be a hard job. Also, police officers investigate criminals and keep aggressive protesters from harming anyone.
