앞선 질문과 연관된 롤플레이 질문이 이렇게 연달아서 나오기도 합니다. 예약을 했던 레스토랑이 그 날 문을 열지 않는다는 것을 방금 알았다고 하죠. 가족들에게 전화를 걸어서 그 상황을 설명하라는 질문이네요. 우선, 그 레스토랑이 왜 문을 닫았는지 설명을 하고 다른 장소에서 식사를 하면 어떻겠는지 물어볼 수 있겠습니다.

Hello, this is Sue. How are you? Well, I’m calling you because I have some bad news to tell. It seems like we have a bit of problem with the restaurant. I just found out that the restaurant where we were planning to go this Saturday is closed. The manager of the restaurant just called me and said that the chef got terribly sick and he is going to be in the hospital for the next two weeks! So, the restaurant will be closed at least for two weeks! Yes, I know. We were all expecting to have your birthday party at the new restaurant. Well, how about having dinner at my place instead this Saturday? I’ll cook some main dishes and we can all celebrate your 60^th birthday! Does that sound great? Good! Thank you for your understating. I’ll see you then!
