[ Q ] You were supposed to book a hotel for your client, but it seems like the hotel which your client wants doesn’t have any rooms available. Call your client and explain the situation and give him two or three alternatives.  

고객을 위해 호텔을 예약하기로 되어 있었지만 그 고객이 원하는 호텔을 예약 가능한 방이 남아있지 않은 상황이네요. 고객에게 전화를 걸어 상황을 설명하고 대안을 제시하라고 합니다. 방이 없다는 상황을 어떠한 이유로 설명할 수 있을까요? 그 지역에 행사가 있어서 호텔 방이 예약이 다 되었다고 덧붙여도 좋겠죠. 대안으로는 도심에서는 조금 떨어져 있지만 다른 호텔은 예약 가능하다고 제안할 수 있겠네요. 그렇지 않다면 고객과의 회의 일정을 다시 잡아야 한다고 설명할 수 있겠습니다.

There is a festival held in the city until next week, so it’s not easy to book a hotel now. I’m sorry, but is it going to be fine with you if I book another hotel? SJ Hotel is a little far from the downtown, but the public transportation system is well set up in the area and there is a suite available. If you insist on staying at Seoul Hotel, we could reschedule most of our meeting, but then you could miss the first presentation at one of the meetings.
