TOEIC SPEAKING
#241. TOEIC SPEAKING ( Part 5 – Q25 )
[
Q 10]
Hello,
this is Steven Chang, the tenant in Apartment 5. I’m calling to let you know
that there are some big boxes left in the hallway by someone. The boxes make
the hallway look very messy and it even smells bad. I know the recycling
pick-up truck is coming tomorrow, so I think the boxes need to be put out
tomorrow. Otherwise, they will have to stay in the hallway for another week.
Since you are the building manager, I would like for you to take care of this
issue. Please call me back with any ideas you have for this matter. Thank you.
go on a trip 여행가다
take care of 다루다, 처리하다
[ Model Answer ]
Hello, Mr. Chang, this is Adam, the building
manager. I’m returning your call about the big boxes that are left in the
hallway. I’d like to apologize for the inconvenience. After checking into the
situation, I found out that the tenant in apartment 2 left the boxes by mistake
and has gone on a trip. I’ll go down and take care of the boxes right away to
make sure that the recycling pick-up truck collects them. Once again, I’m sorry
for the inconvenience and thank you for letting me know the issue. If you have
any other questions, please feel free to call me anytime. Thank
